Standard Warranty Coverage

Unless otherwise stated on the product listing or invoice, products sold by IT Hardware Outlet are covered by a 30-day limited warranty beginning from the date of delivery, as reflected on your invoice or shipment confirmation.

This limited warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.

At our discretion, eligible warranty claims may result in:

  • A replacement of the defective product, or
  • A refund issued to the original payment method, subject to inspection and eligibility

REFURBISHED PRODUCT WARRANTY

Certified refurbished products sold by IT Hardware Outlet are subject to the following warranty terms:

  • Replacement coverage: Up to 30 days from the date of delivery
  • Products found to be defective during this period may be eligible for replacement
  • If a replacement is not available, a refund may be issued in accordance with our Return Policy

Refund or replacement eligibility is contingent upon:

  • The product being returned in its original condition
  • All original accessories, components, and packaging being included

MANUFACTURER WARRANTY

Certain products sold by IT Hardware Outlet may include a manufacturer-provided warranty, which may extend beyond our limited warranty period.

Important manufacturer warranty terms:

  • Manufacturer warranties are provided directly by the manufacturer, not by IT Hardware Outlet
  • Warranty duration, coverage, and service terms vary by manufacturer and product category
  • For manufacturer-covered products, customers must contact the manufacturer directly for warranty claims, repairs, or replacements
  • Some items, including sealed retail boxed products, may become non-returnable once opened, even if covered by a manufacturer warranty

IT Hardware Outlet will pass through any applicable manufacturer warranty documentation provided with the product but does not administer or control manufacturer warranty services.

WARRANTY PERIOD

The applicable warranty period for a product begins on the date of delivery, as indicated by the shipment confirmation or invoice.

  • Standard IT Hardware Outlet warranty coverage is 30 days, unless otherwise stated
  • Manufacturer warranty periods vary by brand and product category
  • Products outside the applicable warranty period are not eligible for warranty claims, returns, or replacements

Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions and manufacturer documentation to understand any additional warranty coverage that may apply.

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS (RMA)

All warranty claims must be approved through a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Step 1: Request an RMA Number

Step 2: Prepare the Product for Return

Once an RMA is issued:

  • Securely package the product to prevent damage during transit
  • Include all original accessories, components, manuals, and packaging
  • Include a copy of your invoice or proof of purchase
  • Clearly mark the RMA number inside the package

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless otherwise approved in writing.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as IT Hardware Outlet is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Step 4: Inspection and Resolution

Once the returned product is received:

  • The item will be inspected by our team
  • If the claim is approved, we will issue a replacement or refund, at our discretion
  • Approved refunds or replacements are typically processed within 10 business days

While IT Hardware Outlet strives to provide reliable products and responsive support, we do not guarantee that our services will:

  • Meet every individual customer requirement
  • Be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • Correct all software, firmware, or program-related issues

Any advice or information provided by IT Hardware Outlet, whether written or verbal, does not create any warranty beyond what is expressly stated in this policy.

USER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers are responsible for the proper handling, installation, configuration, and maintenance of all products purchased from IT Hardware Outlet.

Warranty coverage may be voided if damage or failure results from:

  • Misuse, abuse, or improper handling
  • Incorrect installation or configuration
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations
  • Use of incompatible or non-standard hardware or software
  • Failure to follow manufacturer instructions or specifications

Any materials downloaded, installed, or used in connection with products purchased from IT Hardware Outlet are done at the customer’s own discretion and risk.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IT Hardware Outlet shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or related to:

  • The use, misuse, or inability to use any product
  • Business interruption, loss of profits, or loss of data
  • Software issues, incompatibility, or configuration errors
  • Delays, downtime, or service interruptions

IT Hardware Outlet’s total liability, if any, shall be strictly limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the product, as expressly provided under this Warranty Information.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover, and IT Hardware Outlet expressly disclaims responsibility for, issues resulting from or related to:

  • Missing or replaced accessories, components, or packaging
  • Software-related issues, including operating system errors, driver conflicts, or reinstallation
  • Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, neglect, or third-party repairs
  • Virus or malware infections resulting from inadequate system maintenance
  • Use of unauthorized, self-compiled, or modified software
  • Failures caused by non-standard expansion cards or incompatible components
  • Damage caused by natural disasters, power surges, accidents, or other external events
  • Parts or components not supplied by IT Hardware Outlet

SHIPPING DAMAGE AND TRANSIT CLAIMS

Please inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery.

  • Any damage incurred during transit must be reported within two (2) business days of delivery
  • Customers must provide clear photographs of the damaged packaging and product
  • Failure to report shipping damage within the required timeframe may result in denial of the claim

For large or oversized shipments, an adult (18 years or older) must be available to sign for delivery where required.
